A young woman, pretending to give eyelash curling advice on Tik Tok but also urging viewers to use their phone to search on China’s bullying of Muslims went viral.
It will surely get the scorn of China, which is against all things critical and negative to its repute.
In denial China cannot stop this type of smart attacks on the abuse of the rights it is pursuing against minorities.
Feroza Aziz, the American girl, starts her video telling viewers: “The first thing you need to do is grab your lash curler.”
As of Wednesday, the post had more than 1.5 million views and 501,900 likes, and 600,000 comments.
“This is another Holocaust, yet no one is talking about it.
“Please be aware, please spread awareness in Xinjiang right now,” she says.
She says China is putting Muslims in camps, forcing them to eat pork and abandon their religion.
If they refuse, she says, Chinese officials rape them and perhaps even murder them.
After blasting China, she calmly returns to the eyelash curling tutorial.
A Tik Tok spokesperson told AFP it does not moderate content that are politically sensitive.
Which is good because it allows for more freedom of expression.
But a previous account of the user was banned because she posted a photo of Osama Bin Laden.
Her new account and its videos, including the video in question, were not affected, Tik Tok says.
